Peugeot 308 Review
subaru forester xt 2007The new Peugeot 308 is the latest in a reasonably long line of small/medium sized hatches from Peugeot, and a thoroughly worthy successor to the incredibly popular 306 and 307.
The 308 retains the same dramatic, thrust forward, shark’s jaw look of the 307, it also has the same swept back looking headlights and tall roofline as the 307, however the 308 is a little wider, a little longer, and a little heavier than the 307 which somehow equates to a completely different driving experience.

As with Peugeot’s other new releases the 308 comes with a wide range of engines to select from with petrol 1.6L HDi Manual expected to be the highest selling configuration. Inside there are quite dramatic and elegant changes as it would seem Peugeot have tossed out every aspect of the 307 interior. There are vast areas of glass as well as extensive use of soft-touch moldings, and an angled dash and dials that add a hint of retro to the design.

The materials are also clearly of high quality. The overall effect is one of class, elegance, and good taste – typically French.
