The 2008 X-Trail is a totally new and updated Nissan entry into the soft-roader market, but with some real off road muscle. If you are wanting to follow in the footsteps of trailblazing adventures then you may need to look at either the Nissan Pathfinder or the whooping great patrol, but if your needs aren’t quite so demanding then the X-Trail was invented for you.

The Problem with Subaru is that the that the image of the standard Impreza as a mainstream car has been totally overshadowed by the performance of the WRX and WRX STi.
As a brand, Subaru is already individualistic and quirky enough without having the overall image of the product distorted so that the brand becomes almost totally dominated by the extreme performance reputation of the sportier versions.
Yet Subaru does build cars which should appeal to the thinking, alternative mainstream buyer – and the emphasis here is on “thinking”. As long as their exhausts point out the back Subarus will never truly compete with the other major mainstream brands.

Peugeot 308 Review
The new Peugeot 308 is the latest in a reasonably long line of small/medium sized hatches from Peugeot, and a thoroughly worthy successor to the incredibly popular 306 and 307.
The 308 retains the same dramatic, thrust forward, shark’s jaw look of the 307, it also has the same swept back looking headlights and tall roofline as the 307, however the 308 is a little wider, a little longer, and a little heavier than the 307 which somehow equates to a completely different driving experience.

For over 30 years now, Subaru has been building AWD (4 wheel drive) vehicles and promoting them worldwide. When it comes to AWD Subaru have plenty of experience and with their rally successes in recent years they also know a thing or two about handling too! With the exception of the Impreza turbo models ( WRX and STI) however, one of the failings with Subaru has been the looks or sex appeal of their vehicles, not many people lust after a scooby!

This is a picture of my old subaru, its a 2005 model with the turbo 2.0 litre engine. I absolutely loved this car but it had one major drawback. Once a month or so I needed to do a long motorway trip of around 1000 miles return and on this boring motorway journey the scooby was absolutely crap! Noisy, unrefined and crashy. I’m not sure if this was due to mods carried out or not ( was an import with STI suspension and loud exhaust) but ~I couldnt live with it any longer and had to change cars in the end to a much more refined vehicle but no fun whatsoever! Does anyone have the new 2,5 wrx 2006/7 model? If so is the refinement improved? Have checked out road tests but cant really find out if new models refinement is much better than the old.

The 2006 Honda Civic sedan is a technological showpiece, and is probably one of the most advanced cars available today. OK, perhaps that’s a bit of an exaggeration! If you’ve been keeping up with the latest car reviews, the praise the new 2006 Honda Civics have been getting would lead you to think that it is indeed some kind of engineering breakthrough. The 2006 Honda Civic may not actually be the most advanced car on the planet, but in its price range it is one of the most practical, and like all Hondas will certainly be one of the most reliable.
I’ve been driving a Honda Civic for many years now, and I’m fiercely loyal to Honda engineering. My 1992 Honda Civic has over 200K miles on it, and its only had two problems that required
serious maintenance. It’s also been in a serious accident, but it shows no obvious signs of its age or experience today. However, I am probably going to pick up a new one soon, but mostly just because I’m tired of the crappy metallic teal colour I for some reason thought looked cool at the time, and because the stereo system is hopelessly outdated. Also, I’m interested in getting one of those modern sattelite navigation systems (SATNAV) available with the 2006 edition of the Honda Civic.

The new Focus by Ford is already a purposeful and agressive looking vehicle from most angles, however the new range of bodykits and accessories direct from Ford can turn a cool car into a real headturner.
The good news for Focus owners who have already purchased second hand is that the majority of the bodykit stuff available can be retro fitted - i.e. they are classed as accessories and not factory options by Ford.
